Peel & Reveal:
Step 1: Apply the KYM Lip Masque all across lips. Spread on 2 to 3 layers so lips are completely covered and there’s no natural skin visible. (The bluish-purple masque is not the final shade.) For soft color, let the masque sit on lips for 10 to 15 seconds; for bolder color, wait 30 to 45 seconds.
Step 2: Wait a few seconds, then starting at either corner of your mouth, grip the masque and peel it off to reveal the color underneath.

I was really surprised how much I liked this, especially given the mixed reviews. I went into trying it knowing that it was going to be fiddly to apply. It’s not the easiest process, that’s true, but the outcome is worth it for me. I’ve tried a few brands of lip stains that stained exactly nothing. This is the first I’ve tried where the stain lasts more than a couple hours for me. I absolutely hate the texture of color stay lipsticks so this is a great option for me. The tricks are to exfoliate prior and make sure you haven’t applied any kind of moisturizer recently to your lips. Then before applying, wipe your lips dry with a paper towel. Work quickly and drag it across using the side of the wand head. Keep your mouth open as it dries, those who had issues getting it to dry down are having that because you can’t let your saliva get on it. After it dries roll your lips inward to start the peeling. I use tweezers and then pull off the peels. Then use a damp paper towel to wipe the rest of your lips down to remove excess wet color. It will last a lot longer if you don’t apply chapstick or gloss, but you can if you want. I got the color Pinked and I’ve been wearing it daily for almost a month now. So if you can be careful and patient this stuff is great.

When I tell you I’m obsessed I mean obsessed!!! I seriously haven’t picked up my lip liner since I’ve bought this lip stain. It lasts ALL DAY as long as you prep your lips correctly. Touch ups if you’re going out later are super easy too. Muah-ve is my go to. It’s nude enough for everyday wear and universal. I leave it on for at least 30 min depending on how dark id like it. I have the shade pinked and noohde as well. Hayzel is a 90’s brown, clover is just a bit too dark for me but the darker skin tone girlies will love!

I slapped on this product immediately once I received it. I ordered pinked and am pleasantly surprised with the results. It is a little more pink than what the reference photo shows but I still feel that the color is very pretty and it really compliments my olive skin tone very well—kind of like the “just bitten” look. I left it on for just a few minutes because I was way too excited but it’s still stained and created this really soft and natural color. I’m curious about the other colors but so far so good!
